Tomorrow a new family will have their world turned upside down – they will be told that their child has a rare genetic disorder they can barely pronounce. There will be MRIs, many more doctors visits, and currently no treatments. We run and raise because we believe there is a solution to end NF and through the research guided by the Children’s Tumor Foundation and the funds we raise, we will find it.
DC has new permit rules so we had to bump to Sunday. Bummer, right?
WRONG! Sunday Feb 15th is President’s Day weekend so you know what that means… 3 day weekend! #sundayfunday
Yep! So long as you have a Cupid’s wristband you can move between the 3 different bars (Pour House, Capitol Lounge and Hawk ‘n’ Dove). Each has something different and fun to see, so we recommend mixing it up throughout the day.
Great question, but we don’t really have a great answer since parking in DC is always problematic, especially in Capitol Hill with all the government buildings. We suggest taking the metro. Capitol South and Eastern Market are the closest stops and a short 5 minute walk to the event.
Cupid’s Undie Run isn’t your typical “fun run”.
Fundraising is our #1 priority, and the numbers speak for themselves. Just look how things have changed over the years.
Started from humble beginnings between a few friends looking to make a difference, Cupid’s has grown from a single city raising $10k to $2.8 MILLION fundraised last year. And we’re aiming even higher this year!
Those fundraising dollars don’t just magically appear, though. That’s where you come in.
