Cupid's Undie Run is about a 1.5 kilometer run in your bedroom-best on
Valentine's weekend. No, we're not crazy, we're just crazy serious about raising money for The Children's Tumour Foundation.
Festivities start at Bungalow 8 at noon on Sunday, February 10th 2013, then we strip down for the Undie Run at 2pm along the Barangaroo Foreshore Walk, have our fun and come back for post-race festivities and awards at Bungalow 8.
AUSTRALIA JOINS FOR 2013! In addition to the current lineup of 17 US cities including: Washington DC, NYC, Atlanta, Seattle, Denver and Cincinnati, LA, San Fran, Chicago, Austin, Nashville, Orlando, Minneapolis, Philly, Cleveland, St. Louis and Detroit. Get ready! Registration for Sydney open and is selling fast! The FREE BONDS red undies offer has come to an end (thanks Bonds!). The offer expired at midnight 7th February.
You can fundraise as an individual or join a team, and the prizes will be great! Custom Cupid undies, VIP Open Bar, romantic dinners... tons of cool stuff for doing your good deed and fundraising for such a great cause. With facebook and twitter, fundraising is easier than ever!
Help us make this amazing day worthwhile! Your effort means a lot and February is just around the corner. Get ready to run for the kids... but let's just hope they aren't watching!
WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
The Children's Tumour Foundation is Australia's leading
non-government organization dedicated to ending Neurofibromatosis (NF) through research. NF is a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow on nerves throughout the body, causing blindness, deafness, learning disabilities and severe chronic pain. Currently, there is no cure for NF and there are frighteningly few treatment options. The Children's Tumour Foundation of Australia is a Charity with DGR status and al ldonations over $2 are tax deductible.
NF affects roughly 1:3,000 births and is in desperate need of new discovery, which is why 100% of funds raised through Cupid's Undie Run go directly to the Children's Tumour Foundation of Australia.
The Foundation's mission is to advance peer-reviewed research to develop treatments and cures for NF; support persons with NF and their families by making thorough and accurate information readily available; to assist in developing clinical centres and best practices to improve access to quality healthcare for those who live with NF; and expand public awareness of NF to improve diagnoses, increase understanding of the challenges that NF presents, and encourage support for NF research.
